Terms of Service

Effective July 19, 2026 · applies to Loop at loop-study.com · operated by Shawn Liu, an individual developer · contact 1732003904liu@gmail.com

The service

Loop is a study-planning tool: it turns your interview-prep goal and availability into a study plan and, with your explicit approval, writes study sessions to a dedicated Google Calendar it creates in your account. By using Loop you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, which describes how your data is handled.

Beta status — provided as-is

Loop is in a limited beta, run by one person. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. There is no uptime guarantee; the service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued. If the beta winds down, reasonable notice will be given where practical, and your data will be handled as the privacy policy describes. Loop is free of charge during the beta.

Plans Loop generates are suggestions to help you organize your preparation. They are not professional career advice, and no outcome — an interview, an offer, a skill level — is promised.

Your account

Beta sign-in is limited to an allowlist of Google accounts. You are responsible for your Google account and for the accuracy of what you provide to Loop. You can stop using Loop at any time by revoking its access from your Google Account permissions.

Service metrics

Loop measures how the service performs as you use it — for example how many people use it, how long plan generation takes and what it costs, how often plans need repair, and whether proposed sessions are accepted and completed. These measurements are used to operate and improve Loop, and any figures shared publicly are aggregates that cannot identify you. The privacy policy describes exactly what is recorded and never includes your calendar contents or free text.

Acceptable use

Keep it simple: use Loop for your own study planning. Do not:

Termination

You may stop using Loop at any time. Accounts that violate these terms, or abuse the service, may be suspended or terminated; the beta allowlist may also change as the test evolves. On termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy — you can always request deletion by email.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Loop evolves. The effective date above will be updated and material changes will be noted on this page; continuing to use Loop after a change means you accept the updated terms.
